This policy explains what I collect when you use myonlinebusinessblueprint.com, what I do with it, who helps me run the site, and the choices you have. This website is run by Eddie, USA. Contact: eddie@myonlinebusinessblueprint.com. For privacy purposes, I am the person responsible for your information.
The short version: I collect what I need to send you the free Blueprint and to keep the site working. I do not sell your information. You can ask me to see, change, or delete it.
1. What I collect
- Blueprint requests: your first name, email address, and your consent to receive emails related to the free Blueprint and beginner tips.
- Technical information: basic data my web host may record for security and reliability, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the page that sent you here.
- Cookie choices: whether you accepted or declined non-essential cookies, when a cookie banner is in use.
- Messages you send me: if you email eddie@myonlinebusinessblueprint.com, I keep what you write so I can reply.
I do not ask you to create a member account on this site. I do not collect payment card numbers on this site. If you later join a training platform through a link on my thank-you page, that platform has its own privacy policy for anything you share there.
2. How I use it
- To deliver the free Blueprint and related beginner emails you asked for.
- To answer questions you send me.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To understand, at a basic level, how the site is used so I can improve it.
- To meet legal obligations that apply to me.
3. Cookies
This site uses cookies that WordPress needs in order to work, and cookies that remember your cookie choice when a consent banner is active. If you accept statistics cookies, I use Google Analytics to see how visitors use this site. You can refuse or change your choice at any time via the Manage consent link. I do not use advertising cookies today.
After you leave this site by clicking a link to another website, that website’s own cookie and privacy rules apply.
4. Who I share it with
I use service providers to run this website. They process information for me only to provide their service:
- Web hosting: stores and serves the website.
- Formspree: receives Blueprint sign-up details and forwards them to me by email. Formspree is based in the United States. Its privacy policy is at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
I do not sell or rent your details. I may share information if the law requires it, or to protect people or the site from serious harm.
5. Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and later buy something, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those other sites collect and use your information under their own privacy policies. See my Affiliate Disclosure for more detail.
6. Where it is stored
I am based in the United States. My host and Formspree may store and process information in the United States and other countries. Wherever it is processed, I expect it to be protected in line with this policy.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, information about you may be transferred outside those regions. When that happens, I rely on protections such as the provider’s published safeguards and contracts where they apply.
7. How long I keep it
I keep your name and email until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them. Technical logs kept by my host follow that host’s normal retention. Emails you send me are kept as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted or archived in the ordinary course of my inbox.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to:
- See the information I hold about you, and get a copy of it.
- Correct information that is wrong.
- Ask me to delete your information.
- Object to, or ask me to limit, how I use it.
- Get the information you gave me in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent you gave me, at any time, without affecting what I did before.
- Unsubscribe from marketing or tip emails using the instructions in those emails, or by emailing me.
Email eddie@myonlinebusinessblueprint.com to use any of these rights. I aim to reply within 30 days, and I may need to confirm it is you first.
9. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland
Where those laws apply, I rely on these bases:
- Your consent: sending the Blueprint and related tip emails after you opt in, and any non-essential cookies that require consent.
- Legitimate interests: keeping the site secure, preventing abuse, and basic site improvement, balanced against your rights. You can object.
- Legal obligations: keeping records the law requires, and responding to lawful requests.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority where you live or work. I would appreciate the chance to sort it out with you first, so please contact me.
10. Security
I use https on this site and rely on my host and Formspree to protect data in transit and at rest with the measures they publish. No system is perfectly secure. Please tell me straight away if you think your information has been accessed without your permission.
11. Age
This site is for people 18 and older. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a child has given me information, email me and I will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
When I change this policy I update the date at the top. If a change is significant, I will also note it clearly on this page.
